A Turbine Power Tap/Port provides a connection between a Multiblock Turbine and a power network. A power tap can connect to any cable or powered device supporting Thermal Expansion's Redstone Flux system, such as Redstone Energy Conduit or Mekanism's Universal Cable.

While a Power Tap is not required to have a functioning turbine, it is somewhat silly to not include one.

Multiple power taps can be connected. Power will be distributed to the power taps equally - a percentage of the turbine's output will flow to each power tap, splitting it evenly between all power taps. If any power remains after this process, the remainder will be distributed on a first-come/first-served basis to any power tap which can still accept power. Any power that cannot be distributed to any tap will be stored in the Multiblock Turbine's internal power buffer, or be lost if the power buffer is full.

When a compatible wire successfully connected to a power tap, a small indicator light at the top edge of the power tap changes from red to green.

A power tap may be placed on any exterior face of the turbine, within the outer frame. This includes the top and bottom faces.
